A note about the rules and enforcement thereof.

While we intend to be as "hands-off" as possible, we realize that sometimes it will be necessary to step in to correct those who violate the terms of the user agreement.
It probably comes as no surprise that we the Admins couldn't possibly read every single thread, nor would we even attempt to do so. Obviously, there will sometimes be things that are posted, which violate the rules, that we don't catch.
We do, however, make a point to take a look at threads when they are brought to our attention by one of our users, and decide if the thread in question is violating the rules, then respond to the complaining party in a timely manner. Keep in mind, that we all have many other responsibilities, and we don't get paid to moderate FredTalk full-time. This is why we want these forums to be as "self-policing" as possible.
We will be happy to address any questions, concerns or complaints via e-mail (newsroom@fredericksburg.com, which goes to Brian, Becky, Allen and me) or PM.
