It must be a state to state thing because when my husband was on the town board, it was held in the town building, police station, court house and board room all together in one bulding. Cameras and the media were allowed,as long as it was a public meeting.
There needs to be some new blood if you ask me. As far as the Sherrif, he is doing what is requested and allowed. Is the Judge on the board, even if he is, he is not working as a judge at the time, it is a public meeting, not a court room case. These people are acting like a bunch of children fighting over a toy that every one want to have and ends up breaking it.
