My Digger, the pointer mix I lost last year, was a very active dreamer. He woke me up quite often with his thrasing about. My cairn mix, Libby, is also a yipper/barker but not so much a "runner". Both of them got more active (while dreaming) with age. I've seen that in other dogs, too. Digger would also sleep with his eyes open, which totally freaks me out!
