Service went out late this morning, I called their service, they said I was 1st to report. About an hour later, I left the house for a repair appt. for my car at Ultimate Subaru, and left the computer here polling the mailbox. So, as soon as the internet / cable TV / phone service was back up, the e-mails in my web access to my e-mail acct. would empty since they would be drawn into the e-mail client on this computer. Drove to F'burg, got somethng to eat, and checked the e-mail. Sure enough, the inbox was empty, so the service had been restored already. Great service. I'm back now, TV working great, e-mail and net working great, phone has dial tone.
Wouldn't have come back but the weatherguessers have everyone spun up about what is really a rainstorm in this area of the country, so the movie was closed, and I didn't even check the gym... they're a flighty bunch... Only other thing to do tonight woulda been poker at Q-Ball, but I passed by there and there was all of about 4 cars in front of there. Doubt more than 3 people will show up, and didn't want to wait 2 more hours to find out.
But, Yay, Metrocast...
