Saturday we took our baby swimming for the first time! OK, she didn't really swim, she just kind of floated around. She liked it, though, and here's a photo of her in the pool:

That's what my family all say. She has the basic look of me, but with some of my husband's nicer features, like his nose, and his long eyelashes. I don't know where those blue eyes came from!

Long eye lashes on a girl is fantastic, usually the little boys get all those extra goodies.
I had two kids both born with blue eyes, which are the color of mine, but by the time they were 6 months old they had both changed to brown.

That's what I was expecting, but she's going on 7 months now and still blue, blue, blue. My Dad has blue eyes, so I am a carrier of the recesive gene, but both of my husband's parents have brown eyes. There must be some blue-eyed ancestor we don't know about. LOL!

My son had one of those when he was a baby! He had that same look on his face, didn't hate it, not sure what to do with it ! It was so funny!

Do you have any pictures? I'd love to see them!
Do any of you other Fuggers have photos of your babies in the water?

Joybug, my son Eric had blue eyes when he was born but when he was 4 they changed to brown and they are deep brown like mine, today. He is 21.

Four years old, huh? Everyone keeps telling me they'll stay that way because she's 6 months old. I guess that's not true. I don't think there have been any studies on the matter. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

Doesn't anyone else have photos of their water babies? It's August, there should be plenty by now...

My three sisters and I all had blue eyes when we were born and they did not fully change until we were 6 or 7. My oldest sister has hazel eyes and the rest of us have brown. We also all had blond hair until we were 4 and now we all have dark brown hair.
My son who turns 9 in September had blue eyes till he was 4 when they started changing. They are brown now also.
