Good Morning and Happy New Year 
My groomer recently retired and I am hoping I can get some recommendations for rural Spotsylvania. I have a poodle mix that is very shy. I've tried the groomers at PetSmart and it just stresses him out too much with all the activity. Can anyone recommend a groomer in Spotsy county? Preferrably at a private residence?

Did you try the groomers that have their own vans and they come to your house? I have seen several driving around.

Can't help with Spotsy, but if you're willing to drive downtown, Handsome Hound on William Street did a great job with my dog, who is Chicken of the Sea otherwise. I highly recommend them.

I use a mobile groomer. Clippin K9z. She's very good; the dogs aren't stressed out when being groomed. I can e-mail her contact information if you'd like to talk to her.

We use Carolyn's Puppy Parlor...she's really great with our pups. 540-710-7877...not a private residence though. She's in a small industrial park, just off of Mine Rd. She's very good about insuring that shy or fearful pups are not stressed. Good luck in who ever you choose.
