That will probably be the only race I will try to watch all the way through.
If by some miracle we get our car fixed in time we will be racing in NC the next weekend

Without a doubt, I would rather be in NC watching your son race. Daytona has to be the worst track, hands down, I've ever tried try to watch a race at. You can't see anything but the front dog leg, and turns one and four. When they blow by you, it's a blurr.

I have only been to Daytona twice(69/70)My parents had 4 back row seats at the entrance to pit road from the 60's until about 5 years ago. My brother worked on and traveled with the 90 car out of Richmond for over 10 years. I can't go to a race to watch...Me and the oldest son went to a Go Kart race when he was 8 and he has been racing since, he is 26 now. I also have twin boys had them racing for a while too but they gave it up after a couple years.
The miracle of fixing the wrecked car didn't happen but he did buy a car Sat so it looks like we gonna be racing in NC in a couple weeks.

Not Carl, It does start with a D though, first and last name. He was tight with Mark I.
He passed away a couple years ago.

OK.....we are down to 7 days...Jr is on the pole with Jeff Gordon beside him....Hendrix teammates...Jimmie is #15 ???
And it is supposed to be in the mid 50's here all week !!!!!
