Does anyone have any information on the fire last night at the Historic Ellwood Manor in the Wilderness National Battlefield Park? It had Rt3 and Rt 20 shut down while Fire units from LOW and Chancellor responded. Too many units were there to not have news coverage. The loss of Ellwood would be a major loss to our American Civil War heritage.

It wasn't Ellwood but a house near Ellwood. I taught 2 of the kids that lived in that house. While I appreciate Ellwood as much as the next history buff, I would have preferred it be that house instead because of the damage it did to a family. That family has no place to live now.
