Re: Ice(d) Tea

I use 3-4 family size per two gallon jug. Don't use sugar, though... make it unsweet. Does that make me non-Southrun?

No, but calling it "sweet tea" does, according to some southerners...

Nonsense. Ive heard many fake Deep South Southerners who always like to call it sweet tea and bemoan the fact that Virginia has both sweet and unsweet tea. Its called sweet tea everywhere in the South- even though they already know thats what its gonna be. Northerners call it ice-tea.

I happen to be from the Deep South - 12th generation - and "sweet tea" and "ice tea" are used interchangeably.
